GAUL (10613) was formed February of 2016 after the WWR Clan re-boot update by members within a Facebook based Solo-Pilots Battle Group (SPBG).
GAUL chose its name to honor the fierce and resilient celtic tribes occupying modern-day France, Luxembourg, Belgium, much of Switzerland, parts of the Netherlands Germany, Northern Italy and including parts of Central Italy that bordered the Roman Empire.
in March, GAUL expanded to include an Android version (13374).
In April, both 10613 and 13374 participated in WWR's first Clan Battle event with positive results. It was during the 1st Clan Battle,10613 opened up its vacant clan spots to random non-clan memberships in the Gaul Merc Corps (GMC) allowing pilots that were not part of the clan system, to fight under a clan banner and partake in the rewards for fighting with a clan. At events end the GMC was disbanded with 13374 placing 225th and 10613 placing 180th.
Both 13374 (Android) and 10613 (iOS) both are actively recruiting members.
